This particular project, to support Accurist’s retail re-launch, won the Luxury Packaging Award 2014: Jewellery and Accessories Pack. The judges commented: “The Accurist Watch Box caught the panel’s imagination with its simple yet smart pack with clean graphics.”
Balancing style and practicality, we sought to build premium cues through simplicity. The external design housed a straightforward sliding two-piece rigid card box, finished with luxury buckram paper in a range of classic on-brand colours. Judges remarked on the elegant use of contrasting metallic branding, delivering both stand out for the product and a strong brand experience to the purchaser.
Internally, the box featured a slot to hold the ‘Look Book’ pamphlet, ensuring everything the consumer needs is contained within the pack’s neat design. Judges appreciated the quality of the manufacturing, noting the box “executes its role very well”, particularly its “user-friendly details”, specifically the push button which reveals the product without damaging the box in the process.
