In response to the urgent requirement for vital PPE to protect front-line NHS workers, Hunter have used their extensive Far East sourcing experience to procure thousands of face masks for donation into surgeries and frontline NHS centres. Hunter join the community of Private Enterprise stepping in to help the UK’s response to the Covid-19 crisis.

The masks are FFP2 grade (N95/KN95 equivalent) and meet the guidance from the World Health Organisation (WHO). They are recommended for use by the WHO during outbreaks of SARS, Avian Flu and Coronavirus.

Following these donations, we’ve received a number of responses from Healthcare leaders, emphasising how urgently they’ve been required.

“My practice were hugely appreciative of the masks; thank you so much again.”

“This is incredibly kind and generous of you. We have a real shortage of masks and visors for all of us because of the lack of PPE issued. Many thanks again. I have been blown away by the kindness and generosity of so many people in this crisis.”

Our support for Primary Healthcare will continue during this crisis, as we source additional items of PPE to protect those on the frontline.

We thank them all for their amazing efforts and bravery.
