Designed by Lineup Studios, developed and manufactured by Hunter Luxury, The Macallan Estate presentation pack has taken first place in the Luxury Drinks category at the Luxury Packaging Awards – London Grovesnor House, November 2019.
The elegant packaging embraces the Estate’s character with landscape-inspired designs and a natural slate inlay, carrying recessed transcript lettering to reflect the native stone found on the Easter Elchies estate. The Industry’s first ever natural slate and rigid box required Hunter to search for the right quarry to achieve the desired quality and finish. Every piece is hand-cut, unique and subject to extensive testing. The surrounding drawer-box was designed specifically to counter-balance the slate and uphold a seamless customer experience. The Macallan box demonstrates how technical expertise delivers on an ambitious idea, within a tightly controlled project climate, mitigating risks through every stage.
Hunter Luxury’s MD Mike Banister commented:

Hunter’s help with the development and subsequent manufacture of this stunning pack is greatly appreciated by Edrington.
