Led by The Distiller’s Charity, The Distillers One of One Auction brought together some of the world’s rarest whiskies to be auctioned by Sotheby’s at an event in Edinburgh held on Friday 3rd December at Barnborogh Castle. The event was attended by whisky connoisseurs from 24 countries, as well as many people bidding by phone and online, the £1million goal was exceeded, with £3.1million raised for the charities supporting young people in Scotland.
Of the 42 lots on auction, 20 included a display case and we are proud to say that 4 of those were created by Hunter Luxury.
Our experience in creating beautiful spirits display packaging led us to be approached to produce the One of One cases for Glen Grant and Old Pulteney while those we produced previously for Berry Brothers & Rudd and Glenallachie were also included as part of the lots on offer. Using a range of materials and manufacturing processes, from rigid board to solid oak, polished brass metal work & acrylic, the 4 cases display our expertise across a wide range of packaging styles and finishes.
