Known as the Maritime Malt, Old Pulteney’s heritage has the sea running through it. So, when the team at Hunter Luxury was briefed to create a new box for their 34 Year Old whisky launch, we took inspiration from their nautically inspired brand.
Drawing on our experience and creativity, our designers developed several concepts, but the final design was a clear favourite with the team at Old Pulteney. With a square profile and the hinge on the diagonal, the unusual box opens out to reveal a circular interior, reflecting a ship’s porthole. And, in keeping with the Old Pulteney range, featured their gold etched coin detail, along with gold foil embossing, UV gloss wave detail, and polished metal hinges to continue the maritime theme.
It was great to work with the team at Hunter Luxury on the outer pack for Old Pulteney 34 Years Old specifically
for China.
We had tight deadlines to meet, however the team at Hunter Luxury went above and beyond, and the pack was available to purchase in market for Mid-Autumn festival.
