Hunter Luxury is extremely proud to have produced a unique presentation box for The Macallan Estate. The ‘industry-first’ natural slate gift box, embraces the estate’s character with landscape-inspired designs and a natural slate inlay, carrying recessed transcript lettering, to reflect the native stone found on the Easter Elchies estate. Natural slate, a material that has never been used in packaging, created significant technical challenges. Our technical team visited several mines to find the perfect stone quality and density before finalising the right grade suitable for The Macallan.

A key brand strength in The Macallan’s global appeal is its Speyside provenance. It is central to the brand story, consumption experience, and perceived value of the brand. At the inception of the brief, the ambition was to tell this story literally through the senses and visually through the design and Hunter Luxury has achieved this throughout.
